Internship Opportunities
 
Internships (short term research attachments, ranging from 2 to 6 months) are available to interested individuals who are keen to experience the scientific environment within A*STAR. Through these internships, students can look forward to working alongside reputed teams of research scientists, giving them firsthand experience of a career in research.

Internship opportunities are available to both local and international students, and are opened to the following individuals:
  • Undergraduate students in their third and fourth year
  • Master students

Work Holiday Pass (WHP)

University undergraduates and graduates aged between 17 and 30 years old may apply for internship at BII via the Work Holiday Pass to work in Singapore for up to six months. Applicants must be resident and full-time students of the university. Students who have gained admission to the university but have not commenced their studies may also apply. 

The Work Holiday Programme (WHP) is applicable to students from these countries/territories:

  • Australia
  • France
  • Germany
  • Hong Kong
  • Japan
  • New Zealand
  • United Kingdom
  • United States
