One joint postdoctoral position will be available soon in Dr. Hao Fan's group at the Bioinformatics Institute, A*STAR, and in collaboration with Dr. Wen Shan Yew's group at the Department of Biochemistry, National University of Singapore.

Positions Available

 Postdoctoral Research Fellow (Computational Biology/Chemistry)

We are seeking highly motivated research fellows who will work on computational enzymology, predicting enzyme substrates, reaction pathway of natural products, and redesign enzyme for better biosynthesis. This is a joint position between NUS and A*STAR, starting this May and supported for 3-5 years. Possible candidate can range from PhD student graduating this year to postdoc with < 3-year experience.


  1. A PhD in computational biology, broadly defined
  2. Strong expertise in protein structure modelling and/or small molecule docking.
  3. Experience in protein design is preferred
  4. Strong programming/scripting skills
  5. Good teamwork skills and experience (e.g. collaboration with experimental labs)
