Senior Systems Engineer / Assistant Manager

Responsibilites:

• Manage servers, systems, and storage in a 24 x 7 data center
• Technical support and general troubleshooting
• Hardware / Software configuration and management
• Support end-users computing needs, including drafting solutions and implementation

Requirements:

• Possess at least a Degree
• Possess in-depth knowledge of Linux and/or Solaris
• Knowledge of common opensource applications, comfortable with installing and tweaking them
• Experience with monitoring, systems management tools and logical file systems
• Shell programming expertise, network experience, strong troubleshooting skills
• Experience with some common storage technologies highly desired
• Have at least 4 - 5 years of experience
• Keen interest in Unix/Linux and developing technical knowledge
• A good sense of humor is highly desired
